The Bachelor Update: The Bachelor show moves to Seattle
It’s the first thing that happens in The Bachelor episode tonight. The remaining Bachelorettes are moved to Seattle so Jason Mesnick can get a better perspective on which Bachelorette will be the most comfortable with him in his hometown.
Mellisa gets a call for the first date and Jason wants Mellisa to just be casual about the date. Things are not running to plan. Jason’s son is not on schedule, so he wants Mellisa to just hop into a car and meet him. This is real world and gives Mellisa a chance to let down her hair and become real with Jason.
This is a clip of Mellisa getting ready for her date with Jason Mesnick.
Right now, the remaining bachelorettes that are trying to snag Jason, seem to be friends. They get along with each other and there is no real drama going on, unless it’s in the background where we can’t see it happening. But, I doubt this is the case, otherwise The Bachelor production crew would be all over the drama.
All things considered, tonight is not the night for a lot of drama that could be happening. It was misleading for Chris Harrison to suggest last week that tonight’s episode was going to be The Bachelor episode, to be the most significant one yet.
Mesnick goes into a local radio talk show station to give an interview, bringing three of the five of the contestants along with him. This was hilarious, as they could not go into the room with him during is one-on-one interview.
Outside the glass inclosed studio, the Bachelorettes tried to read his lips. It’s amazing what you can pick up reading lips, when you are not trained for it. They did a pretty good job!
When the Bachelorettes were finally invited into the program to be interviewed, Jason got a lot more information about them all than he ever would have, had they not been in the studio with him. It did give him pause, for thought about a few things the contestants shared.
Jason Mesnick must be the most diplomatic Bachelor that ABC has ever latched onto. He never is negative to any of the women. Jason only complements each one. No one really can know, what he really thinks about any single one of the Bachelorettes, because they are all “amazing”; in Jason Mesnick lingo.
Jason takes Naomi mountain climbing, metro style; inside a sports store display of a mountain, with unreal rocks embedded into the mountain, etc. Naomi only wanted some good time alone with Jason, for her date. It was her first one-on-one date with him. She needed to hit all those Bachelor buttons and make Jason fall for her.
The date does not go bad. Naomi now, truly believes she has a shot at this competition. Isn’t this what it is? Sorry to spoil the moment, but The Bachelor is a reality/ competition show. The winner of The Bachelor becomes engaged to and marries Jason Mesnick.
When you think outside this “Bachelor” box for just a moment, it is pretty unreal. All of these women have been competing to win this game, to marry this man that they really don’t know? Oh well! The face of love has many sides to it.
Naomi is in love. We don’t really know if she is in love with the idea of love, or the real thing; but, she is in love for the moment, anyway.
Jason Mesnick seems like a nice guy, no doubt. Yet, every one of these women thought that Jason would be the right compatible husband for them, until they were voted off of The Bachelor. Then, a few of the ex-Bachelorettes changed fheir feelings for him, within moments of leaving the Bachelor house. Reality bytes!
Ohh!! Jason, Jason, Jason! What will you do? Next week, should be that special week when your real love shows up. She will turn The Bachelor show upside down and throw these women into a real tizzy!
Chris Harrison, you are such a liar!!! You went on a national TV show last week and told the world, this is the most significant episode of The Bachelor yet! Shame on you!!! In my opinion, this episode was just another average show.
Chris shows up in the episode, to talk with Mesnick about the remaining women. This is so whacked out, in so many different ways. Jason likes all of them and can’t make up his mind.
One stunning revelation is, Jason is nuts over Jillian! He is afraid to commit to her, because she might not feel as strongly about him, as he does for her. This sort of, came out of the blue!
Jason had a date with Jillian, but remains unconvinced that she is in love with him. Sorry to break it to you Jason, but if you really were to chose the woman that you think is in love with you now; then you really are a tool and belong on that other network that is running a reality show for tools.
In the end, Jason Mesnick proved once again that he is The Bachelor. Jason must be the most diplomatic Bachelor that reality TV has ever nabbed. In this episode, Jason eliminated Stephenie, the widowed mother from Huntsville, AL. Jason was kind, letting her down easy.
